Twelve celebrities battle it out to be Australia's first ever celebrity apprentice. Among them: AFL footballer Shane Crawford, beauty queen Jesinta Campbell, NRL footballer Wendell Sailor, celebrity agent Max Markson, and Polly from The Block. Presiding over them is successful entrepreneur Mark Bouris, who will dish out business assignments to each team, with the losing team summoned to the boardroom where one of them will be fired.

A celebrity charades game show, with two teams of celebrities battling each other.

It's an education like no other as, once again, Lord Sugar is on the hunt for a Young Apprentice. Chosen from thousands of applicants, twelve candidates, aged just 16 and 17, compete for a 25,000 pound fund that will be tailor-made to kick-start a business career. Still at school, these tycoons of tomorrow come from all over Britain and from every walk of life. Some are from council estates, others attend public schools, but they all share one thing in common: a burning passion for business. Over the next eight weeks, these dozen teenagers will battle it out through a series of business tasks that are just as tough as any Lord Sugar has ever set. In week one, there's barely time to get to know each other, or to suss out the competition, before it's down to business. It's boys against girls as Lord Sugar sets his first task: to make a new range of frozen treats, ice creams, sorbets and frozen yogurts, and then sell them directly to the public.

As the task continues, the finalists rush to prepare for their 7UP Retro events. One finalist's team is frustrated by their leader's lack of direction. The other finalist introduces Def Leppard before the band is ready to appear, creating an awkward break in their event. The next day, the two finalists, backed by their Celebrity helpers, face off in the boardroom.
